Vanessa Slade, Research Director

Vanessa Slade joined Purdie Pascoe in 2021 as an Associate Director, and is part of our Precision Medicine and Diagnostics team.

She holds a BSc (Hons) in Biology with Modern Language (Spanish) from the University of Manchester, which included a ten-month placement in the Ecology Department at the University of Barcelona. Vanessa has also earned professional qualifications in marketing (Professional Certificate, Chartered Institute of Marketing) and market and social research practice (Advanced Certificate, Market Research Society). Early in her career, she completed a graduate scheme, where she progressed to the role of Operations and Marketing Executive in her final year.

Vanessa began her research career at Blueprint Partnership in 2009, focusing on qualitative studies in diabetes and oncology. She went on to hold positions at Ashfield Insight & Performance (now part of Inizio Evoke) and Adelphi Research, where she worked across both qualitative and quantitative projects covering a broad range of therapy areas.

Before joining Purdie Pascoe, Vanessa was a Senior Researcher at Mind+Matter (now Inizio Evoke), where she led the Insights team and specialised in pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare market research.

In her spare time, Vanessa enjoys travelling, socialising with family and friends and going to the theatre. Soon commencing a Superior Spanish language course at the Cervantes Institute in Manchester.
